We picked up our order took it home to find out the order was wrong, we had calamari instead of spring rolls,chips were not cooked properly and batter on fish was doughy. Not a good meal at all would have preferred to have been told that they didn't have spring rolls and had it taken off the bill. Not a fan of calamari.
I decided on a simple easy lunch today. Battered cod, a chicken dim sim and a new drink I hadn't tried, Riviera organic juice. The people who took my order were so lovely. They were cheerful, kind and happy to serve me.
The cod was no joke, the best cod I have ever eaten. So succulent, fresh and a massive serving. The chicken dim sim, was crunchy and also divine. The Pomegranate, blueberry juice was also delicious.
Thanks for filling my belly and putting a smile on my face.
Absolute 10 out of 10 would recommend for fish n chips to have at the beach. So if u like fish n chips on the beach then definitely go and try Mr Tans fish n chips.
We chose this store because it had high ratings but we’re very disappointed.
We paid for the platter for two, which was $35. For that much money we didn’t get much value, and the food was not tasty.
The chips were undercooked. We had some fried prawn pancake thing and it was really tough. There were these fish sticks that we honestly couldn’t eat, my dog wouldn’t even eat it. Just really processed and not homemade.
Was really disappointed with this meal and wouldn’t recommend.
Ordered $56 worth of fish and chips and sea scallops and potato scallops. Asked for a bag and they wantwd 10c for a bag?????? Fish was grilled as my wife is coleiac, was Bland and tasteless and extremely dry, overcooked.
Barramundi and Snapper. Snapper was undercooked.
Chips where not crunchy and they are not par boiled and par fried which the old Chippos used to do to gain extra crunch.
Seas scallops and Potato scallops where on point, highly recommend them.
Gave 4 stars as they cover for my Coleiac wife, other than that I will give them a miss in the future. They Rubbed ne up the wrong way by not giving me a bag after the money I had spent 😊
To the people giving it 5 stars, you obviously have never experienced a proper Fish and Chip joint in your lives 😎
Great food, great service and great prices, I fed a family of 4 with burgers and chips and every one of us agreed that the food was exceptional. We would go out of our way to buy from this shop again
